GUYS I CANT BELIEVE IT! One continuous, stressful and wicked busy year later I can FINALLY reveal the finish product of my blog!!! However, the website is still under construction 🙁 boooooo! Hopefully it will be up and running before the end of the summer! I would have to say the unconditional support I have had from family, friends, classmates, and coworkers are what have pushed me to fulfilling my dreams as a photographer. I am unbelievably grateful for it all, but also incredibly excited for what the future holds for Taylor Lynn Photography! Alright enough about me, lets get to Courtney & Tim’s Big Day in Malden, Massachusetts last weekend. Before I get started I have to give a shout out to my amazing second shooter (& classmate) Kayla for helping me at the wedding last weekend! She takes STUNNING pictures and I wouldn’t have been as successful if it wasn’t for her help 🙂 Thank you Kayla YOU ROCK! Make sure you go check out her work: https://www.facebook.com/kaylalynnephoto/?pnref=lhc (Kayla Lynne Photography!) I have been looking forward to this wedding for about a year now since Courtney reached out to me! I met Courtney 6 years ago in college! We lived right across the hall from each other our Junior year and I loved having her as a neighbor. Courtney jokes around that Tim & I have bumped into each other every time he came to visit… knowing my awful memory we definitely have! I remember the moment she told me her and Tim were expecting their first child Mia! It felt like just yesterday! Courtney was able to finish school, graduate early, and move with Tim to Germany while he served! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SERVICE TIM!!!! These two got married but wanted to celebrate with family and friends back home. When Courtney messaged me asking if I would be the photographer for their big day I couldn’t have been more excited. Not only did I know this couple, but I knew the love these two had for each other and their daughter. I couldn’t be more excited to be able to capture their story. SO wedding day comes, and of course New England weather surprises us with a heat wave! It had to have been sunny and 95 degrees out that day (100 it felt like with the humidity) but did that stop us? Absolutely Not! We arrived at the hotel ready to start the day. I was able to hangout with the girls and Mia as they got ready separately from the men. Can I just say that Mia made the most adorable flower girl EVER! I mean just look at that beautiful face and those GORGEOUS blue eyes! She loved every minute watching her mama get ready and even wanted to wear her heels before they left! 🙂 SO CUTE! We made our way to Sacred Heart Church in Malden, Massachusetts! The ceremony was breathtaking. Even though the church was on the warmer side, you couldn’t tell one bit by the look of the family and friends of the bride and groom! All eyes were on Courtney. The way Tim looked at her and Mia as they both came down the aisle is how every man should look a their woman! The ceremony ended and we were able to sneak in a couple pictures before heading to the reception. I always joke around with my clients about how I love shooting when it is cloudy “ITS THE PERFECT LIGHTING” We were able to snag some gorgeous pictures of the bridal party and their families before the sun came back out! And I mean this bridal party was DROP DEAD GORGEOUS! Made my job as a photographer ten times easier 🙂 We arrived at Anthony’s in Malden, Massachusetts for the reception. Okay guys this would have to have been my favorite part of the ENTIRE day. Anthony’s had a wicked pretty white windows and doors drop that Courtney insisted we take pictures in front of! I agreed It was perfect (and so was the lighting!!!) Only thing about this location was it was directly in front of a busy road. Kayla had to be on car duty for me to make sure I wouldn’t get hit by a car in order to get these shots! (Thats why she is the best!!!) About halfway through our photoshoot, a Malden Cop Car pulled over right beside me in road. He asked us if it would be okay if he blocked the top of the street for us while we finished taking pictures. And I mean how could we say no to that????! We all laughed, smiled and cheered to the cop for saving the day! It was just the cherry on top of a perfect photoshoot! Not to mention, 5 minutes after we finished taking pictures it down poured! Talk about good timing right? Gotta love that New England weather. As for the reception, it was such a blast. Courtney & Tim’s first dance brought tears to everyones eyes (including mine!) Not only did I tear up behind the camera, but when Tim brought Mia out for a dance the water works broke out. I couldn’t have asked for more of a perfect wedding then this one! Thank you Courtney, Tim, the bridal Party and all your family and friends that made this wedding so enjoyable to capture and be apart of. I wish you two the best of luck back in Germany! Thank you again for your service Tim and I cannot wait for you guys to come back home!! Alrighty, enough of me talking! Grab a box of tissues (because I know you’ll need them!) and check out this GORGEOUS Wedding!!
XOXO -Taylor Lynn
